Chris Palau
Chris returns to Paradigm in 2016 as associate director of the program. Chrishas over 20 years of pageantry experience as a performer, instructor, and board member for both Paradigm and the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit. She has also instructed at numerous high school programs throughout Florida and South Carolina including Stratford High School, Belleview High School, Warner Christian Academy, and Spruce Creek High School as well as at Fahrenheit Winter Guard. She is currently guard instructor for Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach.
Christina received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from St. Leo University and has been the SES reading and math lead tutor for Aces Tutoring Company of Volusia County for the past four years. She previously was a Brain Trainer for Learning RX of Ormond Beach where the focus was enhancing the student’s core ability to learn faster, easier, and better by taking advantage of the neuroplasticity of the brain by engaging a student in specially designed exercises to promote rapid strengthening and growth of these neuronal connections. She also previously was the Lead Education Coordinator for Silver Springs Natures Theme Park where she focused on teaching conservation, animal behavioral sciences, natural history, working with and teaching about exotic animals such as giraffes, reptiles, bears, and raptors to park guests ,summer camp participants, and school groups.
Chris, her husband Mike, and their daughter Mackenzie reside in Ormond Beach.
