Heather Rothman

Heather Rothman returns to Paradigm for the 2016 season (her 13th year with Paradigm!) as animation instructor and guest choreographer.

Heather has been an active participant in pageantry activities for the last 18 years. Starting as a performer at the age of 15, she quickly excelled as the “dramatic” one and grew to be a strong team member. After 2 years at Wolfson High School, she continued her  involvement with the activity within Paradigm Independent, Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corp, and Fahrenheit Independent.

Within her 9 year membership as a Paradigm performer, she was blessed to be involved with the tremendous growth of the program including several years as a national finalist, a Silver medalist in Independent A in 2002, and a Bronze medalist in 2003.

She has also been a passionate instructor for several school programs including Dr. Phillips High School, Menendez High School, Murray Middle School, Belleview High school and a clinician in Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina.

Heather has earned many circuit medals for her young teams and also taken a team to the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Tx. Her belief is through  teaching winter guard we  are teaching them life values including teamwork, responsibility, dedication, obligation, hygiene, and more.

Currently, Heather is also working with Dr. Phillips High school.  Heather is also the co-writer of the team’s blog, "Growing Up Pageantry."
