Jessica Frometa (JFRo) JFro is currently the Dance Director at the South Orlando YMCA. Her program is a staple in a community in need financially and in need of a performing arts education. Her program has grown in the last four years and has received the opportunities to perform in countless productions, one of which was at the I Dance Orlando Festival 2016.
JFro started her career in performing arts while enrolled at Colonial High School. She moved on to perform with Central Florida’s WGI Bronze Medalists, Fahrenheit IA. She was also a member in an improvisational dance company, Coby Project, from Winter Park and Explore Theatre and Dance Co., where she had the opportunity to perform at Fringe Festival 2015, The Shift 2013-2015, and Creative City Project 2014-2015. She was also handpicked to perform in honor of the mother of modern dance, Martha Graham, in a dedication ceremony.
JFro has studied at Columbia College Chicago, The Center for Contemporary Dance Pre-Professional Program, and is currently training and assisting at Inez Patrica School of Dance.
