Joe Flynn
Founder and director of Paradigm, Joe has been involved in the winter guard and drum corps activity for more than 40 years, having started as a performer for the famed Blue Rock Drum and Bugle Corps of Wilmington, Delaware. After leaving the activity due to family obligations, Joe returned in 1993 to write drill and instruct for Columbia High School before founding Paradigm in 1994.
During Paradigm's temporary break from performance following the 2007 season, Joe worked with the Gainesville Independent Winter Guard in 2009 and 2010 and as a board member and contest staff member for the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit.
Retired from a successful banking career in 2011 with Barnett Banks, Mercantile Bank, and most recently, TD Bank, Joe and his wife, Janet, relocated to Flagler County, Florida, and started "Paradigm Print" a full service digital garment printing business focused on providing t-shirt and other garment decoration to non-profit organizations.
